FOP Lodge 64 Scholarship Program
The FOP Fulton County Lodge #64 is proud to announce that the 2026 Scholarship Program is now open for applications. We are committed to supporting our members and their families as they pursue their educational goals, and we encourage all eligible individuals to download the new forms and submit their materials.
Available Scholarships
We are offering two distinct scholarship opportunities for the upcoming 2026–2027 academic year:
- The Jimmy L. "Santa" Atkinson Scholarship: Dedicated to the spouses and dependents (ages 17–26) of Lodge #64 members.
- The John Halulka Jr. Member Scholarship: Designed specifically for active FOP members seeking to further their own education.
Key Requirements & Eligibility
To qualify for either scholarship, the following criteria must be met:
- Membership: The member must have been a Georgia FOP member for at least one (1) year prior to application.
- Employment: The member must have been employed with their respective agency for at least one (1) year.
- Lodge Participation: The member must be an active participant in Lodge #64 community service projects and activities for a one-year period.
- Academic Performance: Recipients must maintain a minimum grade of "C" for courses to be reimbursable.
Important Dates & Submission
- Submission Deadline: All completed applications and required attachments must be submitted by May 01, 2026.
- Award Amount: Selected recipients are eligible for a maximum award of $1,000.00.
- Notification: The Scholarship Committee will review applications and notify recipients in June 2026, with awards presented at the June General Meeting.

National FOP Tuition Reimbursement
The Education Services Committee recognizes the need and benefit of education for the members of the Fraternal Order of Police. The committee also recognizes that a member may not be in a financial position to attend a college or a university and the member’s agency/employer may not have a tuition reimbursement program. The National Fraternal Order of Police will provide assistance in the form of an tuition reimbursement scholarship to eligible members so that they may be able to obtain an education degree.
